Between the constant ups and downs of the market and geopolitical volatility, it feels hard to catch your breath and sometimes even more difficult to take a moment to celebrate the wins.

I wanted to start the week with a post to acknowledge not one, or two but three recent monster wins for some of my favourite founders at Hurree, Balearic LDN and Daisy Green Foods.

Levelling up while riding in a rocket ship

First up is Aaron Gibson, the visionary founder at Hurree who apart from building a tech empire, is fresh off centre stage of the Dublin Tech Summit where he not only presented the keynote address but also hosted a fireside chat with Alastair Campbell. He and his amazing team have been able to pivot, grow, repeat in multiple cycles since launching to build a product with true value, innovation and scale in the ever evolving word of data analytics & AI.

So keep on zooming Aaron and team, I know that the next chapter is only going to get better!

Launching with an absolute bang

Next we have Ollie Skinner, the firecracker of founders who is making magical waves with the enigmatic (soon to be infamous?) members club, events and entertainment powerhouse, Balearic Group. Working along side him and watching him bring his dream to life via his drive, passion and focus has been truly inspiring. This week the newly minted team (yay Chloe!!!) moved into their swanky new offices while securing a remarkable strategic investor partnership with the great team at Lazaroo-Hood.

Combining a clear product vision and the focus of a team of this calibre, Balearic Group is poised take over the London's (and beyond!) social calendar in the weeks to come. Let's gooo!!

Making waves on the front pages

Many people know that some of the best coffee and cocktails in London are found at Daisy Green Foods so it was such a joy to see the incomparable team get highlighted in the Times Top 100 as one of the fastest growing companies in Britain. The team there run 20 (soon to be 21!) unique and stunning spots across London, effortlessly fusing art, food and entertainment in the true Aussie fashion.

Now that the word is even further out there, the team are busy cooking up the next exciting new launch so keep your eyes peeled and if you really are lucky, a magical Daisy may open up close to you soon.

To wrap up, I hope this inspires founders (present and future) to keep going, keep making magic and keep following that passion to build your something special.

As I have observed this week, wins can come in the most unexpected and wonderful ways so do not hesitate to celebrate them.
